Interpersonal Dynamics

Effective interpersonal relations are critical in the workplace. When workplace relationships are strained, incivility can occur and risks such as bullying and harassment, grievances and psychological injury are increased.

This workshop provides practical insight into interpersonal dynamics to enable people to be constructively assertive. Using robust theory and practical activities, participants gain knowledge and skills to maintain their emotional wellbeing when confronted with a whole range of interpersonal challenges.

Interpersonal Dynamics explores:

  • The Transactional Analysis model of interpersonal dynamics.
  • Shifting into more productive emotional states.
  • Strategies for maintaining balance in challenging interpersonal situations.
  • Developing assertiveness skills for constructive adult conversations.

It is recommended that this workshop is run in conjunction with our manager/supervisor CBT workshops on Managing Resilience through Change and Developing Resilience in Others and/or in conjunction with the Personal Resiliency Builder(www.resiliencybuilder.com), to maximise people and organisational outcomes.
